How can I give access permission to my network users in my Windows 2003 Server?

by on Feb.22, 2012, under Windows

Dear FriendI want to give access permission to a specific folder to my network users in my Windows 2003 server. The server and the network users are in the same workgroup. I have not configured my servers in Active Directory. Is Active Directory must to Provide Access permission? Appreciate, if you would come back with the solution at your earliest. RegardsPervez

You can follow the same process as Windows XP.
    1. Right Click on the folder you want to share.
    2. Click on “Sharing and Security” > “Share This Folder” > “Permissions” (here you can select the users and give them rights as per your requirement)
