This is the first of my ‘Garage Datacenter’ Video’s. I will be doing some rearranging and getting some extra servers to support an application that i am writing. Once I make some new changes to the datacenter i will upload the videos. Hi there, thanks for the comments, me and my team are doing a startup and we are testing our application that we are building on that hardware. We are testing it to see how we scale up should our application start getting massive hits. We want to make sure that if we start using multiple servers in a load balanced configuration that the system/application doesnt start to behave sporatically … it was an adventure building this system as cheap as we did

I don’t mean that you have a small server setup (gawd no), I just meant that I don’t ask people with 1-2 servers what they are running
I’ve got a bit of a hard time writing and expressing myself in english (I’m french)

I’m impressed to see THAT much servers and hardware in someone’s home.
I don’t usually ask that to people with little servers setup because most of the time they have simple file servers and sometimes little web servers, but what do you do (mostly) with all those servers?
