Hey I just got myself my first Macbook Pro 15′ 2010 i7 2.66GHZ and my feelings are bittersweet….
Right now I can not get the Nvidia GT 330M to switch to integrated GPU? and because of this the Macbook gets really hot and the battery life is under 3 hrs. Therefore I fear that this will burn the Nvidia Graphics…
I now know why Apple moved to ATI aka now AMD GPU for 2011 Macbook pro. Please let me know if there is anyway to detect what graphics is on or off Both one mac osx and windows 7 Boot

I’m thinking about getting a MacBook Pro for college and I want to game on it also. Is it good for gaming?
Also, I have an iMac atm (year 2008) with a crappy ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics card and was wondering if my computer is worth trading in for a 2011 MacBook Pro (probably the higher priced one). I can write the whole thing off as a tax write-off since I have a job involving computers.
